We board a downtown bank elevator and travel back in time to the fall of 1972. It is a little more than three years after the first moon landing by the Apollo 11 crew. As part of this and subsequent missions, moon rocks had been collected and brought back to Earth. During the ’70s, NASA initiated a public relations program—a traveling exhibit of moon rock samples for public viewing. When one of these exhibits comes to the bank where Andy Peters and Mitch Mitchell work, shenanigans get underway.
