Eid al-Fitr

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the month-long period during which Muslims fast from dawn-to-dusk fasting, take part in daily communal prayer, study the Koran. It is also the month in which the Koran is believed to have been revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
